St George's Hall - About Us
St George's Hall was built in 1970 and opened in July 1971 as a purpose-built masonic hall and function centre. The initial layout and the intended purpose of several rooms was slightly different from how it is used today.
The Hall continues to function as a masonic centre and as the administrative centre for the province of Northamptonshire & Huntingdonshire, it has also been open to public events for most of its life.
The Hall has five function rooms of various sizes - including the Ballroom, one of the largest rooms for hire in the area and has catered for formal dinners for over 300 people at a time. It has been a venue for everything from big conferences to wedding ceremonies.
In November 2011 the Hall was forced to announce that it will be closed to outside business from May 31st 2012. The Hall will continue to operate as normal until that time.
